I couldn’t hold a plank and I definitely couldn’t hold a forearm plank. I couldn’t do two push-ups and my core was outrageously weak – way weaker than I even thought. But I started to notice a difference in my strength within a few weeks of going to class only two or three times a week.
Sphericality is more than a fitness studio. It’s a community of friends who encourage and support one another. I feel better about myself. I am happier. Sphericality is my new gem in Flemington! I love it here!
Joining a new fitness studio can lead to some awkward moments. I remember my embarrassment when I walked into my very first class at Sphericality wearing socks & sneakers. But the kind, supportive community at Sphericality quickly made me feel right at home.
This week we are going to explore Pitta which is the summer season. When you think of summer, what do you think of? Summer usually brings to mind heat, sun, salt and maybe the beach. When we are feeling hot we may get irritable, have heartburn, or have trouble sleeping.
The chilly months usually bring to mind tiredness, cold, fatigue, and sluggishness. Do you feel this way all the time or primarily in the fall/early winter season? Do you feel out of control, anxious, have insomnia, or feel cold and have dry skin? Then you may be experiencing some of the side-affects from this season change.
