Dorian Lipoczky

“It brings me joy to see the lightness of mind and wellness of body sprout and grow for my clients. I am impassioned to be a pioneer to share a distinctive menu of functional movement methods with our community at our beautiful studio.”

Dorian Lipoczky is owner of Sphericality and certified, licensed GYROTONIC ® Teacher and certified BarreAmped Teacher.

After a 12 year career in Interior Design and Project Management, Dorian left the working world to care for her three girls. The joy of seeing people take care of themselves and a desire to give to the community where the impetus to obtain her GYROTONIC ® teaching license and open the studio.

She has trained with Master Trainer Sebastian Plettenberg and several other notable master trainers including Dave Rasmussen, PGA Pro and Silvia Frosali, D.O. She has completed specialized training in Applications for Golfers and GYROTONIC ® in the context of Osteopathy.

Dorian’s newest passion is that of BarreAmped. She feels fortunate enough to have met the amazing and talented Suzanne Bowen, creator of the BarreAmped method, and is the first in the northeast to feature this life changing method at the studio.

In 2008 she completed The Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy teacher training in Bristol, Vermont. She is registered by the Yoga Alliance.

Aniko has been practicing yoga for 9 years and teaching since 2006. During her training she has become more passionate about yoga and loves turning other people on to the practice she loves so much. Connection to the breath and listening to one’s own body while being aware of individual strength, flexibility and limitations are emphasized as Aniko guides her students trough their practice with a sense of compassion, and nurturing.

“It is the most rewarding feeling when I give myself to people and make an impact on someone’s life.”

Danielle

Danielle has been in love with dancing since she she could walk. After starting classical ballet training at the age of four with the Princeton Ballet School, she added Tap and Modern Jazz to her repertoire at the Metuchen Dance School and Broadway Dance Theater. Dance programs and troupes through her school years immersed her in Modern, Lyrical, African/ Tribal, and Hip Hop, and she now has a combined total of eighteen years in formal dance training.

Her love affair with pole dancing began five years ago in Fort Myers, F.L. After moving back to the North East to finish her B.F.A. degree at the School of Visual Arts, she began to devote her time to competitive pole dancing and has won six tri-state titles in three years. She was featured on 92.3 FM K-ROK’s “Pole Dancing With the Stars”, is an active member of the United States Pole Dance Federation (USPDF), and continues her studies with American Pole Fitness Association 2010 Champion Marlo at Body & Pole in New York City.

She has trained with Felix Cane (2010 & 2009 Pole Dance World Champion, 2008 & 2006 Miss Pole Dance Australia, Cirque de Soleil Soloist), Alethea Austin (2010 USPDF Pro National Champion, 2009 USPDF Miss Sexy), Sally-Ann Giles (British Isle Champion of Champions 2010, Miss Pole Dance UK 2007), and Rebecca Starr (2010 USPDF East Coast Champion, 2011 USPDF National Pro Competitor).

Danielle is also a member of North American Strongman (NAS) and has competed and placed in several contests in New Jersey. She trains exclusively at a Strongman facility in Branchburg, N.J with her personal strength & conditioning coach.

Danielle is as passionate a teacher as she is a performer. Coming from a strict dance background, she empathises with students who may not “feel strong enough” at first. She never gives up encouraging her pupils to do their best and to always try again. She believes in using positivism and visualisation techniques to achieve maximum results, and encourages each student to develop her own sense of style on the pole. Her classes are accepting yet challenging and always fun. She is proud to be a part of Sphericality and hopes to take it’s students to another level of self expression!

Julie

Julie is a Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and practitioner. Jivamukti is derived from the Sanskrit jivanmuktih, which means “liberation while living.” The notion that liberation is available to each of us in each and every moment is the backbone behind Julie’s classes and personal practice.

In addition to a vigorous asana practice, the five tenets of Jivamukti Yoga are interwoven into each class: Bhakti (devotion/humility), Scripture (ancient yoga teachings), Meditation (connecting to inner stillness), Ahimsa (nonviolent, compassionate lifestyle), and Nada Yoga (deep inner listening). Through her teaching, Julie aims to share a piece of these ancient yogic practices and offer their modern relevance for creating a happy and fulfilling life.

Lisa

Lisa Intrabartola was introduced to yoga in 2001. As a journalist working in a fast-paced, high-stress newsroom, she craved the effect yoga had on her – engaging her body, quieting her mind and bringing balance back to her life.

In 2008, she embarked on a 10-month journey to earn her 200-hour yoga teacher certification. Shortly after starting the teacher-training program led by Amar Jyothi of Yoga Loka in Frenchtown, Lisa learned she was pregnant with her first child. The combination of immersing herself in the study of yoga’s eight limbs and impending motherhood had a profound effect on Lisa. Her daughter, Lucy, was born two days after her mother’s final teacher-training class.

Lisa, who also completed Level One Reiki with Jacqui Crown, is excited to share her knowledge and help others balance their energy and transform their lives through yoga and Reiki. She lives in Clinton with her husband and daughter.

Knowing what makes me the happiest, but not able to fulfill it, I got trapped in the day to day life. Well life has changed since I found Zumba®. I knew about it, but had no idea that could be so challenging, fun and rewarding. Walking to the front of a room full of people feeds my soul!!!

It only took one class to get hooked. A week later I was attending four classes a week. crazy!!! But it gets even better, after only three months of taking Zumba® I had lost two pant sizes, tons on inches and 13 lbs. How great is that!!! And a month after I became Zumba® Certified by Beto Perez himself and Jani Roberts.

Once again, I have found my passion, my laughter and thanks to that I am a better mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend. So, come and join my parties and be party of this amazing adventure!”

Janette CHHC, AADP

Janette has always been a group fitness fanatic. She has enjoyed training with others and making a connection, and abhors working on the typical gym machines.

Four years ago, after being laid off from her corporate job of 21 years, Janette decided she needed to develop a richer outlet apart from her corporate life. Attending Spin classes was her new passion and she decided to get certified as a Mad Dogg Spin Instructor. Certifications in Zumba Basic I, and Zumba Toning quickly followed.

Janette has always loved to dance, since her early years of tap dance lessons. BTS Group Groove fit the bill, with dances in urban, hip hop, club and Latin styles, and Janette soon received her certification. In addition, she is certified in AAAI Pilates Mat and in the latest addition to the studio, BarreAmped.

“I love to teach and to watch as participants make that connection with their body, as they grow stronger, become more flexible, and most importantly, enjoy themselves! Fitness classes are an opportunity to forget the stresses of the day, quiet the mind, challenge the body, and connect with others – Body, Mind and Soul.”

Rocky

My name is Rocky and I am so excited to teach Zumba at Sphericality. It is absolutely the most beautiful studio in Hunterdon County. Exercise has always been a critical component in my life because it makes me feel better physically and emotionally. I started teaching aerobics in the late 1970’s and discovered the joy of exercise and never stopped. I tried my first Zumba class 3 years ago and haven’t stopped dancing since. I got my certification to teach so that I can share my passion with others.

So come on and join the party – it’s a blast! You will forget that you are burning calories and improving your muscle tone. What more could you ask for?
